The media façade is located on the north side of Arengario Palace, currently undergoing a restructuring that will transform it within the next three years into the new Museum of the Nineteen Century. This set up proved to be among the most suitable Italian locations to host the first installation by Urban Screen SpA. Such a length of time added to the rising need in recent years to reestablish Duomo Square to its nature of "public place", center of aggregation, meeting and confrontation, perfectly matched with the characteristics of the media façade; flexible in terms of adaptability and highly functional in its communicative potential envisioned as an extension of the urban space in which information, cultural and recreational interactions may find a new expression.
